Michael is a senior at Georgia State University studying journalism with a concentration in multimedia news reporting. He is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, International Dean’s List Society as well as the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Michael ranks in the top 15% of his class.

As an investigative journalist with the Georgia News Lab, he was among 13 students selected from various Georgia universities to work closely with WSB-TV and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on investigating stories affecting metro Atlanta. Their first major investigation into the 2017 Atlanta mayoral race earned him and his peers a front page spot in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Currently, he serves as a videographer and photographer for the United Way of Greater Atlanta. He also creates video content for a variety of non-profit organizations throughout the metro Atlanta area.

A Michigan native who relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 2013, is equipped with all the essential skills and attributes of a great storyteller and speaker.
